THE Old Gaolers’ latest choice of show has led to the group being filmed for a BBC TV programme.

Their production of Ten Times Table, by Sir Alan Ayckbourn, runs from Thursday to Saturday, October 27 to 29, in Buckingham Community Centre at 8pm.

Directed by Liz Loutfi, the comedy, set in the 1970s, centres round plans for a town pageant reconstructing a local uprising. In typical Ayckbourn style, farcical conflict breaks out on the day between two factions of committee members.

Shots of the Old Gaolers in rehearsal may be seen in a documentary about Ayckbourn to be shown on BBC 1 this autumn.

Tickets from The Duke’s Music in Market Hill, Antiquechic in West Street or The Courtyard at No 6, in Bridge Street.
