Comedy and musicals galore are all on Milton Keynes Theatre’s autumn programme.
To finish off the summer season, the Rat Pack Vegas Spectacular is taking place on August 1 followed by Dora the Explorer, from August 2 to 4, Henry VI, from August 7 to 10, Dreamboats and Petticoats, from August 12 to 17 and a youth production of Footloose, on August 30 and 31.
The autumn season kicks off from September 3 to 7 with Carnaby Street, a new musical set against the backdrop of London’s West End in the 1960s.
From September 16 to 28, Ghost The Musical comes to Milton Keynes direct from the West End. Based on the Oscar winning movie, Ghost is a fantasy about the power of love.
Spoof Ha Ha Holmes!, is being held on October 1. Watch Holmes and Watson hunt down The Hound of the Baskervilles with Joe Pasquale.
The nation’s favourite cookery show comes to the theatre on October 4 with Ready Steady Cook Live! Star host Russell Grant will introduce Lesley Waters and a guest television chef to battle out the kitchen challenge.
The English National Ballet will present Le Corsaire, from October 17 to 19, about Conrad, a dashing pirate and his love for Medora, the beautiful harem girl.
Comedian Jason Manford will be appearing at the theatre on October 27 with his show, First World Problems.
November will see musical legends take to the stage including Slade and Sweet, on November 3, The Hollies, on November 10 and tribute band Brit Floyd, on November 10.
For a bit of drama, Kindertransport is running from November 4 to 9, marking the 75th anniversary of the Kindertransport.
