The Banbury Cross Players are bringing the ‘queen of crime’ to the Mill Arts Centre with their winter production or Agatha Christie’s The Unexpected Guest, opening on February 22.

Director Terry Gallager began planning the production a year ago, and rehearsals have been under way since November.

Banbury Cross Players continue their tradition of seeking out and supporting new talent, with three actors making their debut for the company.

Set on the Welsh coastline in the 1950s, The Unexpected Guest sees a stranger run his car into a ditch on a foggy night and make his way to a nearby house for help.

What he finds is Laura, with a gun in her hand, standing over the dead body of her husband.

But nothing is as it seems as the plot twists and turns...

The thriller runs from February 22 to 25. Box office 01295 279002 or visit www.themillartscentre.co.uk
