BOLLYWOOD came to Stowe last year - and the end product can be seen on the silver screen.
Patiala House, the first Bollywood film to be completely set in London, is due to be released worldwide today, Thursday.
The film is centred around a man who is trying to juggle the contradictory role of a shopkeeper in Southall, respecting his traditionalist father, while pursuing his dream to play cricket.
A scene from the film involving a practice ground, was shot at Stowe School with other locations across the country including Essex County Cricket Ground, Covent Garden and Tower Bridge.
The film also features cricketers from the England, Australia, South African, India and Pakistan teams, including three former England captains - David Gower, Nasser Hussain and John Emburey.
Leading the cast is Indian superstar, Akshay Kumar, who is joined by co-stars Anushka Sharma and Dimple Kapadia.
