GREAT HORWOOD: A Perfectly English Garden Party on Saturday, September 15, from 2pm to 6pm.
Tickets are £5 each (entry for under-16s is free) and include the cream tea. Enjoy an afternoon of live entertainment and raise funds for Dogs for the Disabled.

WINSLOW: Bucks and Oxon group of the Hardy Plant Society will host a talk by Brian Ellis on ‘Foliage First – the importance of foliage and texture’ at its next meeting on Saturday, September 15.
Brian Ellis is a garden designer and nurseryman (Avondale Nursery) specialising in unusual herbaceous perennials and grasses.
The meeting will be held in the Winslow Centre, Park Road, Winslow and the talk starts at 2.15pm. Visitors are welcome (£4).

BUCKINGHAM: Parish church fete, noon opening by Rector, Rev Will Pearson-Gee, 2pm children’s treasure trail, 2.05pm displays start, 4.45pm prize giving by town mayor, Ruth Newell, lots of stalls plus bouncy castle, coconut shy, bowling for a pig, promise auction and children’s olympic races, food and refreshments available from lunchtime, music by Buckingham Acoustic Club, in aid of Roof Appeal.
WHITFIELD: Vintage sale, 10.30am to 4pm, Whitfield Village Hall, The Avenue, Off A43, shabby-chic painted furniture, vintage furnishings, vintage bric-a-brac, vintage refreshments available (tea and cakes).

BUCKINGHAM: River Rinse on Sunday, September 16. Meet at the green bridge in Cornwall’s Meadow Car Park at 10.30am. Volunteer and help clean the river from Cornwalls Meadow Car Park, through the skate park towards Chandos Park.
BUCKINGHAM: Sunday, September 16. The French market from Normandy is back in the Old Cattle Pens, High Street, Buckingham. Patisseries, hot pancakes, and saucisson as well as craft stalls. 9am-4pm.
Monday, September 17
TWYFORD: The VoiceFusion Adults Choir is open to anyone, regardless of experience or ability. Meet every Monday between 8pm and 9.30pm in Twyford Village Hall. Sessions include vocal exercises and group singing. For the more adventurous there is the opportunity to sing in small groups or to perform solo.
