Biker seriously injured near Winslow

A MAN suffered serious injuries after his motorbike was in collision with a car on the A413 near Winslow on Monday evening.
At around 6pm, a group of four motorcyclists were travelling in a line along the A413 Buckingham Road, towards Winslow. The lead motorcyclist, who was riding a blue and white Suzuki GSX R600, crossed the carriageway and collided with a silver Mitsubishi Colt.
The motorcyclist received serious injuries and was airlifted to the JR2 Hospital in Oxford, where he remained in a serious condition yesterday, Tuesday. The three people in the car suffered minor injuries and shock, but did not require hospital treatment.
Police are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the any of the vehicles before the collision. Anybody with information should contact Sgt Chris Simpson or PC Howard Davies on 08458 505505.
