BROWNIES gathered to mark a 30-year tradition at an event in Winslow last week.
Groups from Stewkley, North Marston and Whitchurch joined Winslow's three Brownie packs for the annual Brownie Revels, which first began in the 1970s.

Held at Winslow Combined School, the day of sports and creative tasks has a different theme each year, and this year's activities focused on the recent Olympics. Fun included a marshmallow-and-spoon race, Olympic anagrams, a volleyball tournament, paper javelin throwing and flag-making.

The 3rd Winslow Brownies scooped the overall winners' trophy this year, and prizes were awarded by Brownies District Commissioner Sarah Capstick.

  • The Winslow Rainbows pack is on the look-out for new volunteer leaders, contact Kirsty Davies on 07725 537002 for more information.
