CHILDREN in Winslow rode quad bikes and made books during a recent day of activities marking National Playday at Winslow School.
The children, who belong to the after-school Buzz Club, spent a day riding the bikes around an inflatable course before burning off excess energy on a bouncy castle.

Afterwards Dawn Bain of the Bucks Play Association showed children how to bind their own books and later they learnt about enamelling.

Kirsty Reader, Buzz Club deputy manager, said: "It was national play day throughout the country so we had lots of activities for children so they could come together and socialise and just be part of the community.

"A lot of people came along to see what we are all about and found out how much fun we have."
