LIVE music ranging from pop and punk to soul, country and 'bone and roll' can be heard at the second Crownstock festival in Little Horwood next Saturday, August 2.
The festival, held at the Old Crown pub in Mursley Road, will offer fun and live music between 1pm and 10pm in a beautiful country setting.
A total of seven bands have been booked so far, including Taylor'd Country, a six-piece group from Milton Keynes, which blends American country, pop and rock music in the 'New Country' style.
Young Leighton Buzzard band Rusty G's will play music from their EP Fade Away, while ska-punk band The Little Villeins promise to put in a lively performance.
Also appearing are five-piece pop and rock band Hiding in Reno, and Pieff Laballe and the Bone and Roll Orchestra will introduce audience members to their unique sound, which combines bare-bones lyrics with rock and other musical styles.
Soled Out and Stanislav are among the other bands confirmed.
The event will raise money for 13-year-old Olivia Treadwell from Westbury, who was born with cerebral palsy affecting both legs.
Following special physiotherapy, and an operation in 2005, Olivia has made amazing progress.
Last year's Crownstock raised £1,000 to help her, and organisers hope to do even better this time. Funds are needed for an intensive physiotherapy course in Oxford in August, and Olivia faces a second operation later the same month.
Debbie Armstrong, landlady at the Old Crown, said the pub was proud to support Olivia's ongoing treatment. "It's really brilliant to see how Olivia has improved," Mrs Armstrong said.
In addition to the bands, attractions will include children's activities, games, an adventure playground, face painting and a barbecue. A marquee will be available in the event of rain.
Tickets are £5, and under-16s enter free. Contact 01296 713062 for more information.
