A FUNDRAISING festival in support of a Westbury teenager has raised almost twice as much money than at its debut last year.
The second annual Crownstock festival, held at Little Horwood's Old Crown pub on Saturday, August 2, boasted live music and entertainment for all ages.
The event was held to raise funds for 13-year-old Olivia Treadwell, who was born with cerebral palsy affecting both legs. Her condition requires on-going treatment.
Landlady Debbie Armstrong said: "At the moment we don't have an exact figure but it looks like we have raised about £1,900 for the Olivia Fund. It was a really good day and everyone had fun."
About 200 people turned out to support the event and were rewarded with live musical performances by seven bands.
Mrs Armstrong said: "I want to thank everyone who supported the event and helped out. So many companies lent their support but there were also local people who donated prizes."
A CD featuring the music of Pieff Laballe, one of the performing bands, is on sale at the pub for £5, with money going to the Olivia Fund.
