A NEW chocolaterie and bar-bistro has opened in Winslow.
Serving fresh food, frothy cappucinos and hand-made chocolates, the new eatery, Rigby's, has moved into refurbished premises at 1 Horn Street, formerly occupied by Rosie's.

Customers were able to sample its delicious chocolate creations for the first time at an open evening on Saturday, July 5.

The venture is owned by Mark and Aimee Oldfield and is named after Mrs Oldfield's maiden name Rigby.

Light lunches including doorstep sandwiches, salads and quiches are served during the day, while the evening menu includes home-cooked recipes such as Normandy pork, meatballs and chicken dishes. Guests can also enjoy a full range of Italian-style coffees, as well as wines and spirits.

Rigby's range of hand-made chocolates are created by a Cambridge-based artisan chocolate maker.

Mrs Oldfield said: "We look forward to seeing everyone and adding that something extra whether they be dining with us, having a drink or simply buying gifts from our selection of chocolates."

Opening hours are from 10am to 11pm, Tuesday to Saturday, and from 12pm to 3pm on Sundays.
