TV stars support charity match

TV STARS will go up against the cream of Winslow's footballing talent in a charity match on Saturday. (05/07).
Former Winslow boy Ayden Callaghan, who plays Miles de Souza in Emmerdale, will bring the Emmerdale Allstars team to Winslow United's ground in Elmfields Gate for the match on Saturday afternoon.

Fans can see some of their favourite stars warming
up from 2pm, including Elliott Tittensall from Shameless, Jake Hendriks, James Sutton and Barry Sloane from Hollyoaks, Chris Geere from Waterloo Road, Jeff Brazier from Shipwrecked, Big Brother winner Anthony Hutton, and Glenn Lamont, Kelvin Fletcher and Luke Tittensall from Emmerdale.

Mr Callaghan, a keen footballer and a former Winslow United player, said his team is determined to put in a good performance against Winslow's squad.

The Emmerdale Allstars team has helped raise thousands of pounds for children's charities over the last few years.

All proceeds from next Saturday's match will go to the Lions Club of Winslow to be shared among local charities.

A beer tent and food will be available, and visitors can meet the stars and get pictures and autographs from 2pm.
Kick-off is at 4pm.

Tickets will be available on the gate, priced £7 for adults and £3 for under-16s.
