Last night the Government called for an army of 250,000 volunteers to help support the NHS in this time of crisis. Incredibly, 170,000 have signed up overnight.
BHT confirmed that they will need volunteers and are assembling a team to manage this. More information will be provided in the coming days for those who wish to volunteer.
They have already setup a mailbox to coordinate offers of food and gifts to support NHS staff. Please write to: bht.covid-19-actsofkindness@nhs.net.
