Coronavirus update: No new deaths recorded in Bucks

The number of people who have died from coronavirus in Buckinghamshire remains 243 after no new deaths were reported in the past 24 hours.

Data shows that 123 people are reported to have died in hospitals in Buckinghamshire with coronavirus between 1 March – 16 June, and 120 people have died in the region's care homes with the virus between 10 April – 12 June. Data for Buckinghamshire does not include figures for Milton Keynes.

Across the UK, the death toll is now 42,153 after a further 184 people were reported to have died in hospitals, care homes and in the community in the past 24 hours.

Premier League football returns today for the first time since 9 March. Aston Villa will play Sheffield United at 6pm, ending a 100-day hiatus for the league, before Manchester City play Arsenal at 8:15pm.
