Coronavirus update: UK cases now exceed 300,000 as one more person dies in Bucks hospital

Data shows that 124 people are reported to have died in hospitals in Buckinghamshire with coronavirus between 1 March – 17 June, and 120 people have died in the region's care homes with the virus between 10 April – 12 June. Data for Buckinghamshire does not include figures for Milton Keynes.

Across the UK, the death toll is now 42,288 after a further 135 people were reported to have died in hospitals, care homes and in the community in the past 24 hours.

There have now been more than 300,000 confirmed cases of coronavirus in the United Kingdom.

Globally, coronavirus has now sadly claimed the lives of 452,396 people, with almost 8.5 million known for have contracted the disease.
