Find out about cancer services in Bucks at free online event

Healthwatch Bucks and Bucks Healthcare NHS Trust are hosting a free webinar for anyone with concerns about cancer services at this time.

The Zoom event is free and open to all. It will take place on Tuesday October 20 from 5pm to 6pm, chaired by the Zoe McIntosh, Chief Executive of Healthwatch Bucks.

You’ll hear from specialists and have a chance to ask questions, such as how to access cancer services or where to get the support you need during this time and in the coming months.

The specialists will be:

Mr Andrew McLaren, Consultant Surgeon and Deputy Medical Director;

Dr Raj Thakkar, GP & Buckinghamshire CCG Lead for Planned Care & Cancer;

Ruth Wilcockson, Thames Valley Cancer Alliance Director;

and Dr Sheryl Sim, Consultant Oncologist.

Questions submitted in advance will be shared with the speakers. You can email your questions at any time before the event to [email protected]

You will also have the chance to ask questions electronically during the event.

The event will also be recorded and put on the Healthwatch Bucks website so it can be shared more widely.

Everyone who registers via Eventbrite will be sent information on how to access the recording of the event and the subsequent report.
