There's a chance to find out more about what construction of HS2 high-speed rail line will mean for Calvert, at an online webinar tonight, Wednesday November 18.

Calvert will eventually be home to the Infrastructure Maintenance Depot (IMD) along the HS2 route. As the works are starting to develop, HS2 is holding the webinar to give people more information about what to expect in the area.

Viewers will hear from HS2's early works contractors Fusion, who will provide a background to the works they have completed and what is still to come and also from the main works contractors, EKFB, who will provide a look ahead for the coming months.

Environmental experts and project teams will be available to talk about how the Calvert works are developing, what you can expect in the area and answer any questions you may have.

The event is being held this evening, Wednesday November 18, from 6pm to 7pm, via Microsoft Teams Live Events, which is a free-to-use online platform. If you have the Microsoft Teams app installed on your desktop or mobile device, the session will open automatically within that.

Further joining instructions will be sent to all registered attendees. To register, visit www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/hs2-in-calvert-area-update-tickets-123442316291
