Brackley designer stirs up the fashion world with tea-inspired dress during London Fashion Week

Brackley designer Brad Dykes turned heads at London Fashion Week with a bespoke design for a tea company.

Brad Dykes, 27, formerly of Brackley, designed a striking dress for Drink Me Chai tea which was shown at London Fashion Week.

The striking outfit, made up of packages from tea company Drink Me, was worn by model Liz Day, also from Brackley.

Mr Dykes, 27, was a student at Magdalen College School before going on to study a Masters in fashion with business studies at Brighton University.

He says: “I have always designed around the idea of movement. Although this was a big gown it had a lot of elements that allowed a lot of movement.”

After his studies, Mr Dykes studied as an intern in Los Angeles , designing outfits for the likes of Lady Gaga and Justin Timberlake. He now works out of London where his label Style Armell has become well-known in the Latin and ballroom dance scene.
