Family entertainment takes a decidedly cute turn on Sunday afternoon with the arrival of The Elephant Bridesmaid, showing at Stantonbury Campus.

This piece, described as ‘a magical musical about weddings and wombats and the loveliest elephant the world has ever known,’ is based on a story from the best-selling book How The Koala Learnt To Hug and Other Australian Fairytales.

It is a perfectly appointed delivery of games, songs and heart warming elephant antics to enthral .

Nellie isn’t the star of this piece though, instead the honour goes to Nessie the Elephant, and you can help her, and her animal pals, when they go on the hunt for an outfit fancy enough (and large enough) to make Nessie the Australian jungle’s first and most beautiful Elephant bridesmaid.

Why not don your own fancy dress to the performance for the chance to join the actors on stage in a fabulous fashion show?

Tickets are on sale at £8.50 for adults, £6.50 for children and we should tell you that the show is suitable for little calves, and little mites aged four years old and up.

Show time is 2.30pm.
