Dancers are invited to ‘Dress For The West’ at a barn dance in Brackley on Saturday.
Featuring a caller and the well-known fiddler Tom Leary, the Brackley Music Festival event is taking place at the Bowls Club, in Westminster Road, from 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £8 for adults and £4 for children from BLISS, Market Place, Brackley.
> On Wednesday, February 2, the University of Buckingham welcomes the return of the hugely talented violinist Peter Fisher and pianist Peter Hewitt for a lunchtime recital entitled The Romantic Violin.
The concert is in the Radcliffe Centre at 1.15pm. Admission on the door £3.50 (concessions £2.50).
> The Pin Money Craft Co-operative is running a Community Crafting Roadshow on Saturday, at Syresham Village Hall from 10am to 4.30pm.
There will be three two-hour craft classes to choose from and a multitude of drop-in craft workshops to try your hand at. A range of artisans and artists will be selling and showcasing their hand-made wares, and there will be Fairtrade tea, coffee and home-made cakes and muffins.
