STOWE Landscape Gardens is revealing a new restoration.
The recently restored Grotto will be officially opened for visitors to explore while looking round the gardens on Sunday.
And they will have the chance to meet a high-society Georgian couple taking tea in the Grotto – just as the original family would have done 300 years ago. Visitors will be able to ask questions and talk to them about Georgian life.
There will also be poetry readings throughout the day highlighting the work of renowned Georgian poets such as Alexander Pope and James Thompson.
Milton Keynes-based Flauto flute quartet will be playing music from the era from 11am to 12.30pm for the couple to listen to as they dine.
