Craig Hurst, of Southwood in Little Stanion, Christian Hartshorn, of Buttercup Meadow in Northampton, Peter Hobby, of Paddock Fields in Gretton and Nick Upex, of The Wheatfields in Burton Latimer also received awards.

This is the fifth year that Paul has won a Quality Award and the second year for his work at Brooklands Meadow. It’s also a mark of continued success for Craig, who has been honoured for his work at Southwood for the past four years in a row.

The achievements of all five site managers have contributed to a hugely successful performance at the 2012 Pride in the Job Quality Awards for Taylor Wimpey East Midlands, which has seen 11 of its site managers honoured across the region.

Dominic Harman, managing director of Taylor Wimpey East Midlands, says: “I’d like to thank the site managers and their teams at all five sites in Northamptonshire for the hard work and dedication which have resulted in them winning prestigious NHBC Quality Awards.

“We’re delighted that Taylor Wimpey East Midlands has won a total of 11 Quality Awards this year, which is testament to the tremendous efforts of all of our people across the region, who take pride in building high-quality new homes and delivering first-class customer service.”

The NHBC’s Quality Award winners are selected from more than 13,000 entries from around the UK.

Each site manager undergoes a stringent twelve month selection process with independent judges visiting developments at key stages of the construction process to assess them on all aspects of house building, including workmanship, leadership, technical expertise and health and safety.

These are the only awards that recognises the significant contribution of site managers in new home construction, Pride in the Job has been instrumental in raising the build quality of new homes in the UK for over three decades.

Quality Award winners proceed to the regional heats of the competition, which take place in the autumn, with the Supreme Awards gala final being held in the New Year.
