Steven Arnold, who played Ashley Peacock on the soap, can be seen in Chaplin: The Charlie Chaplin Story at Aylesbury Waterside Theatre on Sunday June 26.

It is the heart-warming and powerful story told through the eyes of a young boy on his journey through the dark streets of Victorian Vaudeville London to the glitz of early Hollywood.

This story follows Chaplin through his early career, showbiz ambitions and often-fractious relationship with his mother, family and his first love.

He will be joined by Nicole Faraday from Bad Girls and Emmerdale as Charlie’s mother Hannah Chaplin.

West End actress Helena Gullan also appears in a full cast of other actor-musicians who’s combined experience includes Buddy, Dreamboats and Petticoats, Return To The Forbidden Planet, Jersey Boys and The Commitments.

The creative team include the multi-award winning writer Stuart Price and No.1 hit-single writer Jake Field as composer. The company Maple Tree Entertainment are also responsible for the other smash hit West End show The Simon & Garfunkel Story.
