After the success of last year’s event, Wappenham villagers are holding a second Beer and Cider Festival with plenty of live music on offer as well, tomorrow (Saturday) from noon until late.
The fun takes place at the village hall in School Lane in Wappenham with 12 real ales and six ciders on offer, plus wine and soft drinks, a barbecue and loads of live music to enjoy.
The bands include Shattered Timbers (pictured), Yellow Dog Blues Band, Rhiannon, Halcyon Days and Off The Hook.
The music programme also includes Towcester Rock School who will be providing four bands, each playing short sets.
Entry to the festival is free, although advance tickets were available for £6 which included two pints and a burger, and helped organisers plan the catering. You do not need one of these advance tickets to get into the festival. Just turn up and enjoy it all.
In case of wet weather there is a marquee, so everyone can still enjoy the music and the beer even if the rains come down.
The festival is supported by DJ Marquees and Towcester Mill Brewery.
