A husband died suddenly on Valentine’s Day after exchanging gifts with his wife, an inquest has heard this week.
Gavin Farr had been out walking his dog on February 14 this year, before returning home to his wife Deborah, and collapsing shortly after.
An inquest at Northampton General Hospital on Wednesday, July 3, heard Mr Farr was found by his wife lying on the floor in his kitchen.
They had been together for six years, and had only been married for 18 months.
Mr Farr, aged 32, of Main Street, Towcester, suffered sudden heart failure, the inquest heard. Mr Farr had epilepsy but pathologists could find no link between the condition and the cause of death .
A statement from Mrs Farr, which was read to the inquest, said: “Gavin’s death has been a complete shock and I miss him very much.”
Coroner Anne Pember recorded a verdict of death from natural causes.
