Paulerspury Players are holding auditions for their Silver Jubilee pantomime production next week.
Babes In The Wood, by Adrian Barradell, will be performed in the village hall from Wednesday to Saturday, February 19 to 22, with the usual Saturday matinee.
Audition sessions will be held at Paulerspury’s URC Chapel from 7.30pm to 9.30pm on Thursday, October 17, and from 10am to 12.30pm on Saturday, October 19.
Anyone who cannot get there but would like to be considered can call Tracey on 07980 628857.
It will be the first production of Babes In The Wood in the group’s 25-year history.
Regular leading Tracey Lyle-Carter, who is making her directing debut with this show, said: “This lovely fairytale has always been very dear to me. My mum used to read me the story and then it was the first panto I ever saw.”
The players are also in urgent need of musicians.
Tracey said: “We need a pianist and, hopefully, a bass guitarist and a drummer, for rehearsals and for the five performances.
“Anyone who can help please give me a call.”
