A vision of how Brackley will be developed over the coming years has been published.
Last month a meeting of South Northants Council full council adopted the Brackley Masterplan.
The plan sets out how the town will be regenerated through limited housing growth, and the creation of jobs in a way that can be sustained. The adoption of the plan comes after a six week consultation with residents and businesses in the town.
Councillor John Townsend, cabinet member for environmental policy, said: “Successful market towns are vital to maintaining a high quality of life, as well as maintaining a strong sense of place, and Brackley is no exception. The masterplan aims to shape the town’s growth, preserve what is special and strengthen the local economy.”
He said: “We are committed to strengthening Brackley by ensuring it is a dynamic and attractive place to live, work and visit.”
