A woman from Brackley has fulfilled her dreams by starting up her own photography studio on the town’s high street.

Katie Appleton, 28, is joining the ranks of hundreds of young entrepreneurs across the UK in launching a new business.

“I am very thankful to turn my passion of photography into my own self employed business and follow my dreams with my own studio,” said Katie.

“2013 has been a very successful year for me and I am looking forward to a very exciting 2014, which has already started extremely well with the opening of my new studio.”

Self-taught, Katie launched her photography business, KT’s Photography, two years ago.

According to StartUp Britain, the UK hit a record of over 500,000 new businesses launched in 2013. Start-ups now represent 95 per cent of the UK’s businesses.

“I would highly recommend that people should follow their dreams and use their passions to develop their careers,” Katie said.

KT’s Photography is on the first floor, 36 Market Place, Brackley. Visit
