PROPOSED changes by the Local Government Boundary Commission to county council electoral boundaries could see Nash and Granborough become part of a Winslow division.
The commission has launched a 12 week consultation on plans to change ward boundaries at Bucks County Council (BCC), which could see the number of councillors reduced from 57 to 49, with 17 representing the Aylesbury Vale area. The proposed changes also include:
>> Moving Thornborough to the Winslow division from Buckingham North and;
>> Changing the name of Buckingham South to Buckingham South West and including the parish of Biddlesden.
People across the county are being asked to have their say on the proposals, which can be found at www.lgbce.org.uk.
The consultation period continues until October 10. Proposals are based on information from residents and BCC.
Submissions can be sent to The Review Officer (Buckinghamshire), Local Government Boundary Commission for England, Layden House, 76-86 Turnmill Street, London EC1M 5LG or by emailing email@example.com.
