BUCKINGHAMSHIRE businesses are to get a unified voice at local and national government following the merger of the county’s foremost business groups.

This week Buckinghamshire Business First (BBF) announced it had joined forces with Ngage Solutions to give county businesses increased support, access to finance and a unified voice at local and national Government.

With a ten year track record in delivering support to businesses Ngage Solutions has a network of partnerships and strong links to local business and support organisations. The merger also sees the appointment of Philippa Batting who will replace Stuart Jones as managing director of BBF. She believes the merger will further strengthen Bucks’ position as ‘The Entrepreneurial Heart of Britain.’

Ms Batting said the deal will allow them greater influence with a variety of Government agencies and added: “The merger of BFF and Ngage Solutions will bring together the expertise and experience of both organisations to make our proposition even stronger and allow us to have more impact in lobbying local and national Government, generating funding for businesses in the area and addressing the issues that local businesses face.’

BBF was launched in April 2011 and is backed by locally based entrepreneurs and hundreds of SME’s, and local authorities.
