THERE’s seldom a dull day for the owners of a new pet supplies business in Winslow.
Jenna Tomlins, aged 29, and Laura Baxter, aged 21, say business has been brisk since they opened the High Street shop on December 1.
The business partners both used to work at Tiggywinkles animal sanctuary.
Within days of opening the Unique Pet Boutique, their skills came in handy when reports came in of a flock of chickens on the loose in Elmfields Gate.
With the help of volunteer Ruth Ash from Winslow Police Office, Laura rounded up the hens, dubbed ‘the Winslow Eight’, by PC Martin Siderman, and they are now safely behind bars.
