Whittlebury Hall’s conference and events manager has been shortlisted for a major industry award.
Craig Fraser, who has worked at Whittlebury Hall since 2007, is in the running for the Meetings Industry Association’s mia-List 2013 award.
Mr Fraser said: “To be nominated for such an award has given me a new sense of achievement with my work and this in itself tells me I’m doing the right things and I have chosen the correct path for my career.
“There is a long way to go still but it’s simply fantastic, I can’t stop smiling.”
To make it through to the shortlist, nominees have to show commitment to improving the guest experience, find new ways to improve the operation, including cost saving methods and opportunities to increase revenue, and help keep their organisation one step ahead of the competition.
Whittlebury Hall director Michael Stott said: “Craig is consistently recognised for his outstanding customer service through guest feedback.”
Finalists will be announced at an event in Westminster on April 22.
