HIGH standards of provision, well-forged partnerships, well-planned service delivery and strong leadership have earned Steeple Claydon Children’s Centre a ‘Good’ rating from Ofsted.
The report, published last week, highlights the successful work done with teenage families by the centre, which operates on the same site as Steeple Claydon Combined School.
Healthy living is promoted and child obesity levels in the centre’s catchment area are now lower than those in other parts of Bucks.
Centre leader Ann Winsor said: “With a committed team and involvement from the families, we have proved what a successful centre we are in supporting the community on a daily basis.”
Feedback showed that parents value the services provided by the centre, with one parent saying: “The staff are brilliant – the centre has been a lifesaver for my family.”
