BBC TV’s popular Antiques Roadshow will be filming for its 35th series in the grounds of Stowe House on Thursday, July 19, and entry is free.

Some of Britain’s leading antiques and fine arts specialists will be on hand to offer free advice and valuations to visitors.

And will the programme attract back some of the ‘Lost treasures of Stowe’?

It’s more than 150 years since Stowe House was stripped of its contents.

The roadshow team and Stowe House would be delighted if visitors on the day bring along some of these lost treasures.

Doors open at 9.30am and close at 4.30pm. People with large big items can send details and photographs to Antiques Roadshow, BBC, Whiteladies Road, Bristol BS8 2LR or email them to
