Christmas arrives early for home’s residents

Delighted residents in Bourton Road Supported Living received Christmas parcels from the Rotary Club of Buckingham on Wednesday.

Every year, the Rotary Club of Buckingham give Christmas food gift parcels to the residents of three supported living homes in Buckingham and Gawcott, who have learning disabilities.

Waitrose Buckingham provide festive gift boxes, which are then filled with Christmas goodies by Rotarians Margo Parfitt and Sue Renshell, and delivered with strict instructions not to be opened before December 25.

Ken Trevitt said: “The Rotary Club of Buckingham has a long tradition of supporting those most vulnerable in our community. Together with Waitrose, we have supplied 22 food parcels this year, as well as some treats for the devoted staff.”
