CLAYDON House in Middle Claydon will host creepy tours of the historic home this Hallowe’en.

The tours are running from 6pm to 8pm each day from October 29 to 31, and the early-evening tours will be suitable for younger audiences.

House manager for the National Trust at Claydon, Helen Minocki-Brooks, said: “We’re encouraging people to dress up to add to the fun. To break the ice at the end of your creepy tour, the team will be serving a seasonal, free pumpkin soup.”

Tours cost £1.50 per person, with no need to pre-book. For more information, contact Claydon House staff on 01296 730349, email or visit
