YOUNG people in Towcester have been given another season of activities thanks to support from Northants County Council.
This week the Vision Youth Cafe based at the Islington Road Community Centre announced they had finalised a 16 week autumn programme with the support of NCC.
The cafe, which gives troubled teenagers a place to hang out, had been threatened with closure but has continued thanks to financial support from Towcester Town Council and county councillor Rosemary Bromwich.
Cafe director Lisa Bolton said: “This is exciting news for Vision and we are grateful to NCC’s support to enable us to be able to put on such an exciting programme.”
The programme includes DJ Workshops, Street Dance and a Battle of the Bands event.
