Court round-up: Man guilty of drink driving, taking a vehicle without consent and racial abuse

A man who pleaded guilty to a driving and public disorder offences appears in this week's round-up from Aylesbury Magistrates' Court.

DANE ANTHONY BENJAMIN, 27, of Quarrendon Avenue, Aylesbury. 1) On February 4 drove a black Ford Fiesta in Bicester Road, Aylesbury, after consuming 63 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath (legal limit is 35mgs). Pleaded guilty. 2) Same date, took a black Ford Fiesta without the consent of the owner. Pleaded guilty. 3) Same date, in Bicester Road, drove without insurance. Pleaded guilty. 4) Same date, in Bicester Road, drove while disqualified from driving. Pleaded guilty. 5) On September 19 used threatening words/ behaviour with intent to cause alarm/ distress to an individual, and the offence was racially aggravated. Pleaded guilty. 6) On September 19 in Aylesbury used threatening words/ behaviour with intent to cause another individual alarm/ distress, and the offence was racially aggravated. Awaiting sentence.

PETER BARTLETT, 66, of Masons Court, Aylesbury. 1) Between October 31, 2010, and July 23, 2015, dishonestly failed to notify the Department for Work and Pensions of a change in circumstances – that he was in employment – which he knew would affect his entitlement to pension credit. Indicated plea of guilty. 2) On March 26, 2010, dishonestly made a statement to the Department of Work and Pensions which was false, in that he failed to declare the true extent of his income, affecting his entitlement of pension credit. Indicated plea of guilty. Awaiting sentence.

PAWEZ BRZESKI, 38, of no fixed abode. 1) On December 20 failed to comply with an order under section 35 of the Anti-Social Behaviour Act 2014 not to return to Aylesbury town centre within 48 hours. Pleaded guilty. 2) On January 31 at the Waitrose car park in Aylesbury, was guilty, while drunk, of disorderly behaviour. Pleaded guilty. Discharged conditionally for six months, victim surcharge £15, costs £40.

MICHAEL PAUL EDWARDS, 49, of Conegra Court, Wycombe. On February 6 in Aylesbury resisted a police officer in the execution of his duty. Pleaded guilty. Fined £80, costs £85, victim surcharge £20.

SAUL DAVID GEORGE ROBINSON, 24, of Thornhill, Thornborough. On February 7 in Boreray, Buckingham, drove a Vauxhall Astra after consuming 62 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath (legal limit is 35mgs). Pleaded guilty. Disqualified from driving for 17 months, fined £230, costs £85, victim surcharge £23.

KIRK DESMOND SAURO, 30, of Harvey Road, Aylesbury. On February 6 in Prince Rupert Drive, Aylesbury, drove a Vauxhall Zafira after consuming 60 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath (legal limit is 35mgs).


Disqualified from driving for 16 months, fined £330, costs £85, victim surcharge £33.

MATTHEW JOHN WILLIS, 37, of Wycliffe End, Aylesbury. On February 4 in Tring Road, Aylesbury, stole four items of fragrance worth £102 from Tesco. Fined £120, costs £85, victim surcharge £20.

CARN TWEED, 42, of Griffin Place, Aylesbury. 1) On July 18 in Aylesbury stole two electric hair removal kits, worth £346, from Boots, Aylesbury. Pleaded guilty. 2) On August 22 stole two bottles of Oyster Bay Sauvignon Blanc, worth £24, from Budgens, Aylesbury. Pleaded guilty. Must pay £368 compensation.
