Bicester News: Witness appeal after 16-year-old punched in face

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after an unprovoked attack in which a teenage boy was repeatedly punched in the face.

The attack happened at about 7.50pm on Friday, February 25. The 16-year-old was using the cash machine at Tesco in Holm Square when an unknown man walked up to him and punched him several times in the face before walking off.

The man is described as white, about 5ft 6ins tall, in his early 20s, stockily built, and possibly had short dark hair. He was wearing a grey and black hooded top with the hood up.

PC Evonne Beckett said: “This assault was completely unprovoked and happened at a time when there would have been a lot people around who would have seen what happened. I urge them to speak to me as soon as possible. Perhaps you saw where the man went? Maybe you saw him getting into a vehicle?”
