Police have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to after a pedestrian was bitten by a dog in Bicester.

Thames Valley Police believes the man, who is wearing a distinctive jacket and cap, may be able to assist them with their enquiries after a 26-year-old man was bitten on the leg by a Jack Russell-sized dog.

At around 6.30am on Tuesday, June 4, the victim was on the path between Old Place Yard and Pingle Drive when he was bitten by a ginger-coloured dog.

A man, who is believed to be the owner, had three other dogs of the same colour and breed, and left the scene after the incident.

The victim had two small cuts to his left leg and slight bruising.

Anyone with any information should contact PC Evonne Letch of Bicester Police Station via the 24-hour Thames Valley Police Enquiry Line on 101.
