FOUR members of a Buckingham family were each ordered to carry out 200 hours unpaid work in the community after admitting they failed to meet the welfare needs of a German Shepherd dog.
Edward Dillow, 63, Jason Dillow, 26, Philip Dillow, 40 and Tracy Peacock, 38, who all share a home in Bourtonville, Buckingham, appeared at Aylesbury Magistrates’ Court today, Friday, December 10. They appeared for sentencing after previously pleading guilty to causing unnecessary suffering, and failing to meet the welfare needs of a 12-year-old dog called Schmitz.
Chairman of the bench Bill McDonald also order them each to pay £250 costs. Mr McDonald said he was not ordering them to pay the full costs or giving them the maximum community order due to their early guilty plea and show of remorse.
