A LUXURY car was snatched by a gang in Bicester last Tuesday as part of a series of incidents police say may be linked.

Burglars let themselves into a home in Cranesbill Drive through the unlocked front door between about 6.30pm and 7pm.

They took a set of keys to a grey BMW 530 Diesel Sport, registration N40 SDM, which was then stolen from the driveway.

Police are keen to speak to a man seen in the vicinity. The white man, who was of average build and height, was wearing a black hooded jacket.

Det Con Mark Personius, investigating the burglary, said he was particularly interested to hear from anyone in the area who has their own CCTV systems.

He added: “Another incident which happened in the early hours of Thursday in nearby Lucerne Avenue may be linked. In this particular incident, four to five men were seen acting suspiciously around a black Audi.”

Anyone with any information should contact Det Con Personius via the Thames Valley Police 24-hour non-emergency number on 08458 505505.
