Man is assaulted in Towcester town centre

ASSAULT: Police officers are appealing for witnesses following an assault in Towcester.

A 46-year-old man was punched by a man, described as white, 6ft, in his 40s, of medium build with short dark hair and stubble, wearing a suit and a dark green, mid-length coat with the hood down causing him to fall to the floor.

The incident happened between 8pm and 9pm on November 9, between The Plough pub and the Co-op on Watling Street. Witnesses or anyone with information, should call Northants Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
