A MAN was left with serious injuries after a hit-and-run incident in Upper Arncott last Thursday.
Police are appealing for witnesses after a 40-year-old man suffered a broken arm and ribs.
The man was walking along Murcott Road towards Arncott at about 6.30pm when he was hit by a large Renault van overtaking a second Renault van.
The injured pedestrian was treated at the JR2 Hospital and was discharged on Wednesday this week.
PC Richard Medway, investigating the incident, said: “We believe the vehicle which failed to stop was a large Renault van as we recovered a wing mirror at the scene.
“I am keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision, saw the offending van beforehand, or knows of a van, possibly a Renault, which is missing its passenger wing mirror.”
Anyone with any information should contact PC Richard Medway via the 24-hour Police Enquiry Centre on 101.
