Mobile phone stolen from girl, aged ten

CRIME: Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after a theft in Bicester on Thursday last week.

At around 4.30pm, a 10-year-old girl was sat on a bench with a friend in the park on Shakespeare Drive, opposite Tesco Express, when a boy on a bike and a girl walking next to him went past them.

The victim’s grey and purple Nokia 5230 phone was on the bench next to her, and the girl grabbed it from the bench, before her and the boy left in the direction of the Centurion pub in Leach Road.

The victim then went home and saw the offenders with a group of other men and woman in Ashdene Road.

The girl is white, about 16 to 18 years old, 5ft to 5ft 2in, large build, with dark blonde hair in a ponytail. She was wearing skinny fit blue jeans, and a dark blue baggy jumper with two letters on the right shoulder.

The boy who was cycling is white, between 16 and 18, 6ft, and slim. He was wearing a grey hooded top with black writing on it and black coloured tracksuit bottoms.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or recognises the description of the offenders should contact PC David Cross at Bicester police station on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
