Crowds flocked to Brackley on Saturday to enjoy the town’s 13th annual beer festival.
Festival-goers packed the town park to enjoy more than 60 selected beers, live music and family activities including face painting, pottery painting and a tuck shop.
Festival committee chairman Jess Breward said he was delighted with the turnout for the festival which he hopes will raise close to the £16,000 of charity funds collected from last year’s event.
“The park was absolutely packed,” he said. “Every square inch was taken up with picnic blankets and gazebos.
“We had sixty barrels on sale from up and down the country and every single one sold out.
“It’s a real community event and people look forward to it,” he added.
“It’s the kind of event that will bring the whole town out and people plan their holidays around the beer festival.”
The festival generates funds from the sale of wristbands, beer glasses and beers for a range of charities.
Mr Breward said he wished to thank Brackley Round Table which organises the annual event, the Rotary Club of Brackley and the many local business who sponsor the festival.
