Police are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist was knocked down by a car that failed to stop.

The 30-year-old woman was cycling across a zebra crossing on Queen’s Avenue, Bicester, at 7.45am on Friday, when she was struck by a small burgundy red car, possibly a SEAT, travelling northwards.

The driver of the car failed to stop, despite knocking the woman to the floor.

The woman was seen by paramedics but was uninjured.
