More than £250 in international currencies, a leather wallet packed with bank cards and car keys have been stolen from a home.

The cash, made up of $150, €25 and £140, was taken from the home in West Street, Buckingham, when thieves broke in through a back door.

They escaped with a jar of loose English money, a plastic pot of American cash and a money box of euros.

Burglars also unlocked two cars in the garage but only took the sets of keys.

It happened between 10pm on Friday and 1.30am on Saturday and police are appealing for witnesses.
