BICESTER Community College students celebrated some of the highest marks in the country for diplomas in hair and beauty studies at a glitzy presentation evening last Friday.
All students got A or B grades for their two-year diplomas, which represent up to seven A-C grade GCSEs. The awards were presented at Bicester Golf and Country Club in Chesterton in front of family and friends.
Gill Joy, head of hair and beauty at BCC, said: “It’s pleasing to see that the students’ hard work has paid off and the results they achieved were fully deserved. They have been exceptional students, who have become a great team and I’m so proud of them. It’s been a pleasure to teach them - they are a credit to Bicester Community College.”
College principal Jason Clarke said: “We are immensely proud of these students and their excellent achievements on this diploma course.”
