An elderly woman had her bank card stolen, having been watched as she used her PIN number to pay for her shopping at Waitrose in Brackley.

The incident happened at about 10.15am on Thursday, September 24.

The woman who had been watching her then followed her home and distracted her while her accomplice, a man, took her card from her bag which was in her car. This was later used to withdraw £280 from a cashpoint in Buckingham.

There is no description of the male offender but the woman spoke with an eastern European accent and is about 30-years-old with a slim build and shoulder-length blond hair.

Police would like to speak to the woman captured on CCTV in connection with the incident.
